Innate Immunity and the Gut
The UEGF Education Programme Committee is pleased to announce the 2nd UEGF Teaching Activity on Basic Science! The meeting on Innate Immunity and the Gut will take place from Friday-Sunday, July 16-18, 2010 at the Murray Edwards College in Cambridge, UK. UEGF invites basic scientists at post-doc or junior faculty level and young investigators with career plans in basic science to apply online on http://www.uegf.org/education/teach_basic_science.php?navId=208!
A short curriculum vitae (1 page) and a 15-20 lines abstract representing the applicant’s field of research must be provided together with a summary of personal career plans and reasons for application.
Participation is by selection only. A maximum of 30 investigators will be nominated by the responsible course managers based on criteria of academic excellence, commitment to GI and research interests. Applicants will be notified via e-mail of their application status by end of April 2010.
UEGF offers successful candidates an outstanding educational programme and a travel grant up to € 550.
In addition, UEGF comes up for two nights of accommodation from July 16-18, 2010 as well as for group meals and dinners with faculty and peers. Deadline of application: April 4, 2010
